Friday, August 21st:
Try Gourmet Samosas from Rick’s Good Eats (5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Briskit Brampton)
A twist on the traditional samosa, Rick fills them up with Butter Chicken, Cheese Cake & other flavours. Click the link and find out more.
Witch ft. Kim Boekbinder (Starting at 9 p.m.)
Pay what you want at this Night & Day Studios event. The studio says that “Kim describes her songs as experimental electronic pop, built with synthesizers, found sounds, guitar, beats, and a singular voice.” She will also be releasing some new songs at the event.
Outdoor Movies at Mount Pleasant (9 p.m. – approximately 11 p.m.)
This week, catch Paddington on the big screen.

Live Music At Four Corners Square (7 p.m.)
Every week local bands take over the square to entertain the crowd. This week, hear The Clearing, an independent acoustic-rock band.

Outdoor Movies at Four Corners (9 p.m – approximately 11 p.m.)
This week, catch Big Hero 6 on the big screen.
Every week, Jesse Alarcon brings out awesome local bands and puts on a show. If you love music and a good beer, this is a good event to check out. This week, hear Heart Attack Kids who are on a 2015 summer tour.
Toy Ride Parade (Registration: 8 a.m, Parade start: 11 a.m. )
Every year the Brampton Motorcycle Association holds a toy ride parade to collect toys and raise money for the Salvation Army’s Toys for Tots program and the pediatrics ward of the Brampton Civic Hospital. The entry to the event is $25 or a new unwrapped toy. If you ride, join the parade, if you don’t just appreciate the coolest panda on the poster below.
Minion Madness Latenighter – Laser Quest (10 p.m. to 2 a.m)
Laser Quest Brampton is hosting a minion madness night, entry is $25 for four hours of unlimited play. Game play is in team games and elimination rounds. The winner gets a prize.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 23rd:
Doubles & Roti eating competition (12 p.m. – 4 p.m)
Vishnu’s Roti Shop is celebrating its 5th anniversary by having a Doubles & Roti competition. Sounds like Brampton. And we love it.
Blue Jays (Sundays – 1:05 p.m.)
The Blue Jays have been on a hot streak and the city is taking advantage. You can now watch the games live on the big screen at the Four Corners square.
Tracks Brewpub 30th Anniversary (1 p.m. – 6 p.m.)
One of the oldest Pubs in Brampton wants to celebrate it’s 30th anniversary by showcasing local artists and donating the money to support renovations at ECLYPSE Youth Centre in Brampton. Make a contribution at the door to enter and get a complimentary BBQ chicken dinner!
