Friday, August 14th:

Try Gourmet Samosas from Rick’s Good Eats (5 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Briskit Brampton)

Outdoor Movies at Mount Pleasant (9 p.m. – approximately 11 p.m.)

Live Music At Four Corners (7 p.m.)

Every week local bands take over the Rose Theatre square to entertain the crowd. This week features Ahi a nationally recognized, prominent Indie-Soul artist! CBC says his music is “the raw passion of traditional soul with the edge and innovation of indie music for a sound that simply pierces the soul.” Sounds good to us.

Saturday, August 15th:

Therapy Through Arts – Night & Day Studios (18 Strathearn Ave Unit 12c North – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

Drop in for a group session with a therapeutic goal through the visual art. The workshop will consist of an introduction to mindfulness, an open art-directed activity and a sharing session.

Community Music Showcase – Farmers Market Downtown (10:00 a.m.)

Enjoy free live performances by local artists in downtown Brampton during the farmers market.

Outdoor Movies at Four Corners (9 p.m – approximately 11 p.m.)

This week, watch the LEGO movie on the big screen.

Sunday, August 16th:

Night and Day’s Art Exchange (Spot One Bar & Grill 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)

This art festival will feature local artists, a dance-a-thon, and a silent auction. This event is also a fundraiser for a local community member.

Blue Jays (Sundays – 1:05 p.m.)

The Blue Jays have been on a hot streak and the city is taking advantage. You can now watch the games live on the big screen at the Four Corners square.

Stomp ‘n’ Stampede In The Square (6 p.m. – 10 p.m.)

Brampton is holding a free country-themed evening of music, activities and entertainment at Four Corners (the corner of Queen and Main St.). Singer, songwriter Vanessa Marie Carter will be performing at 8 p.m.

Join in on some line dancing instructed by a Line Dancing team and try your grip at the mechanical bull.
